Our sustained determination to excel guides our daily actions. In both small and large matters. In the vineyard as well as in the wine cellar. For us, it makes no difference whether it is an everyday bottle of inspiring territory wine or a perfectly matured single-vineyard vintage for Christmas dinner. Styrian Buschenschank for friends of great cuisine and big bottles.

Alexander Mayer (Mayer & Friends) is working this summer at Erich Polz Jun's winery (Weingut Polz) on Grassnitzberg in South Styria. A cooperation that gives lovers of the highest quality food & wine a pleasant shower in advance.
In Mayer’s style, it's about innovatively tuned delicacies based on tradition and origin.
Traditional Buschenschank. Cold kitchen. The very best of the simple. Light-footed, small corridors. Often very typical, often funky too.
Erich Polz Jun. opens the matching bottles. From delicate and fresh to elegant and exclusive. Matured to the point, in an entertaining large format, quiet, pearly, rare ... Alex sends, Erich goes one better. But sometimes also the other way around.
